Special Construction Tools
This toolbar contains construction tools that are not directly related to a transport method. Click on the icon with the red dot in the yellow circle at the top of the game view to open this menu. When you select a tool, the cursor turns into the corresponding icon. Construction costs and maintenance costs are displayed in the blue tool tips. Demolition costs the same as construction. A construction action can be undone for free (without reimbursement of construction costs) using z, as long as nothing else has been built.
Ancillary building for stops
Various auxiliary buildings are available for designing stops. Place them directly next to any stop object according to your creative ideas. They also allow you to create large-scale stops. They expand the catchment area and capacity of the stop. Most auxiliary buildings extend stops by one of the capabilities of handling passengers, mail, or freight. For example: A post offices extend a passenger-only stop by adding the ability to load mail.
Some auxiliary buildings can also be found in the railway or road construction menu, but their function is no different from that of those in this menu.
Hedges, city walls, sidings, parks, and district heating
Hedges are well-suited to preventing the city from building over highways. Otherwise, the city would build a house next to the highway and downgrade it to a city street with an inner-city speed limit.
Technically, hedges are railway tracks with a 0 km/h speed limit and corresponding graphics. Therefore, there is also the special form Siding with Freight Cars or Siding with Passenger Cars. Every proper station has a siding where currently unused cars are parked. This isn't easy to implement in Simutrans without a locomotive ready to depart.
The small park and the district heating pipes are also hedges.
The Power Grid
· Transformer station
Could some of the factories produce more? Supply them with electricity, and they will. Place a Transformer station directly adjacent to a power plant and to the business you want to supply. Only one Electrical substation can be connected to each power plant and business. However, a power plant can supply several factories or shops with electricity. By connecting the two substations with an overhead power line, the business is supplied with electricity. Electricity transport also represents an interesting source of income. As long as enough electricity flows, the production of each supplied business increases. Whether a factory is receiving electricity is indicated in the game by a red lightning bolt on the substation.

· Overhead Power Lines
The first click with the power line tool selects the starting point of the route, the second click the end point. The game builds the shortest possible route between these two points, using your own lines that already exist. Simutrans only uses empty fields. However, roads and railway tracks are automatically crossed if it is possible on a flat surface and at right angles. On a slope, construction can only be carried out in the direction of the slope. Existing power lines or transformer stations on neighboring fields gets automatically connected. If no connection is found or possible, nothing happens after clicking the endpoint.

· Power Bridges
To build a power bridge, first click the starting point and then the desired end point. It can be built from and to flat surfaces, even over vertical cliffs and on slopes in the direction of the slope, but only in a straight line. An existing power line gets connected.

· Power Tunnels / Underground Power Lines can only be built in a straight line and only at one elevation. The starting point of the power tunnel must be a power line end on a slope. Place the tunneling tool on the power line section. The power tunnel will be built completely if Simutrans finds a straight slope on the opposite mountainside. If you receive a warning message, the opposite slope was not straight. An important construction aid is the use of the grid (in the largest map view, the # key toggles it on and off); it makes it easier to find the penetration point. If you only want to build a power tunnel portal, you can Ctrl+click. You can then switch to underground mode (with U or under Display Settings) and build additional routes with the power tunnel tool. Electrical substation can also be built in underground. To do this, you must select the substation tool in underground mode. A red area will then appear under the factories, where the substation must be placed.

· Remove Power Lines
Special Construction Tools
· Buying a House
It is possible to buy a townhouse. This house is then protected from demolition or modernization by the public authorities. Other players can no longer demolish this house.

· Place a sign
You can use the sign to name something or as a memory aid. Place it on any tile. Edit the text field that opens, then confirm with "Enter" or close the window. You can use the magnifying glass to change the text. The list of all markers allows you to jump back to the positions of the markers. So it acts like a marker pin. A marked field becomes the player's property. It remains your property even if you remove the marker. This makes it possible to protect fields from development.
· Replace Stop:
With this tool, you can move a stop or waypoint in the schedules of all lines and individual vehicles that use it. The stop is the red tile when the schedule is open. However, the timetable for the vehicle or line must not be open, otherwise it will not be moved. This can be used to change the stop or the planned tile within a stop (e.g., to move all lines from one platform to another platform in a station). After selecting the tool, click on the tile of stop or platform you want to replace in the line maps, and then on the stop or part of a stop you want to use in the future. The timetables will be changed immediately, but not the destinations of the vehicles already in transit. Remember the red tile, You have to hit the right tile exactly and don't forget to close the schedules first. Only then will these entries be moved in the schedules.

· Make stop public
From now on, any player can use this stop. All players can have their vehicles stop here. This allows for the exchange of passengers, mail, or goods between players. If a player's stop is made public next to a public stop, the stops are connected to one. This allows you to link your network to a public stop. Making it public is very expensive, but from now on, the public sector will cover the maintenance costs.

· Rotate Buildings
Most buildings in Pak128.german have four views, meaning a different one from each direction, but not all. Multi-tile buildings can also be rotated, but non-square houses can only be rotated so that they occupy the same area after rotation.

· Combine Stops
Two stops become one stop if they are not too far apart. The further apart the stops are, the more expensive it becomes to combine them.

· The player's Map Editor menu opens.
This allows you to expand and modify the map. All types of buildings can be built.

· The Public Sector Map Editor menu opens.
This allows you to increase a city's population. New factory chains can also be built. This button only appears when the Public Sector is active. Otherwise, it is hidden.
